CAREER DIRECTION FOR EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS
You don’t need a new resume until you know where it needs to take you.
The KE Career Direction Lab helps accomplished professionals compare potential paths, evaluate real opportunities, and choose a direction before investing in new career materials, education, or a major transition.
You know something needs to change. You’re just not sure what should replace it.
You may have several possible directions—or no clear direction at all. Perhaps you’re considering a new industry, returning to work, pursuing greater leadership, or leaving a career that no longer fits.
The challenge isn’t a lack of experience. It’s determining which opportunities align with your strengths, priorities, compensation needs, family responsibilities, and vision for what comes next.
The Career Direction Lab gives you a structured way to evaluate those questions before committing to a résumé, degree, certification, or job search.
The Career Direction Lab may be right for you if…
- You feel burned out but aren’t sure whether the problem is your role, employer, industry, or workload.
- You’re considering more than one career direction.
- You want to understand how your experience translates into different roles.
- You’re returning to work after caregiving, entrepreneurship, or time away.
- You’re considering graduate school or another credential and want to assess the potential return first.
- You know what you no longer want—but haven’t defined what you want next.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Career Direction Lab include a résumé?
No. The Lab establishes the direction and positioning strategy that should guide your résumé. If you decide to continue with a Career Branding Package within 30 days, $200 of your Lab investment will be applied to that service.
Do I need to have three possible directions?
No. You may enter the process with several ideas, one tentative direction, or simply the knowledge that your current path is no longer working.
Is this only for career changers?
No. The Lab can also help professionals evaluate workforce reentry, advancement, graduate education, changes in work environment, or more sustainable ways to use their existing experience.
Will you tell me exactly which career to choose?
I’ll help you compare your options using market evidence, your professional background, and the priorities that matter most to you. You’ll receive a clear recommendation and action plan, while retaining ownership of the final decision.
Do you guarantee that I will find a job?
No career service can guarantee employment. The Lab provides evidence, direction, and positioning strategy so you can make better-informed decisions and pursue stronger-fit opportunities.
