Earlier in my career, I was a hiring manager and human resources leader in the retail and hospitality industries. I specialized in recruiting, hiring, training, and/or managing best-in class talent for organizations including Neiman Marcus, Tommy Hilfiger, Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center, and the award-winning Breckenridge Distillery.

After my oldest son was born in 2018, I knew that if I was going to go back to work, it had to be worth the cost away from him (in terms of both money and time!)

As I reflected on what I enjoyed most about my career, I realized I truly LOVED connecting job-seekers with jobs they were excited about. 

I had always done this from an employer’s perspective. Until one day, when I learned I could do it on behalf of the candidate themselves by translating their unique story into a powerful personal brand. Since then, I have worked at some of the industry’s most well-known resume-writing companies, helping hundreds of professionals advance and/or pivot their careers.

As a result of my highly consultative approach, my clients have landed interviews (and jobs!) at Fortune’s largest employers, as well as in government, non-profit, and startup organizations.

I have a BS in Merchandising, awarded from Colorado State University and an MBA in Human Resources from the University of Colorado – Denver.

My industry credentials and certifications include Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and Nationally Certified Career Strategy Coach (NCCSC).

I am committed to continually upleveling my skills by attending the latest professional development courses and conferences, and I am an active member of the Career Thought Leaders (CTL) Consortium, the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC), and the National Resume Writers Association (NRWA).
